Event Details

The 2025 Heart of Maryland-A Night of Impact will bring together community leaders, healthcare professionals, and supporters of the American Heart Association to celebrate local volunteers and supporters who are making an extraordinary impact by being advocates for change, expanding our knowledge, fighting for equity, and finding paths to discovery. The event will feature a cocktail reception and light dinner fare offered at food stations throughout the evening. The Night of Impact program will recognize our 2025 recipient of the Watkins-Saunders health equity award, Dr. Yvonne Commodore-Mensah, our 2025 Heart of Maryland Honoree, Dr. Miriam L. Cohen and recognition of our Leaders of Impact nominees.

Evening Schedule:
6:00 PM | Doors Open
6:00 PM - 7:15 PM | Food Stations, Networking, Mingling
7:15 PM - 8:00 PM | Program 

Event Format:
This will be a cocktail style event with food stations and passed hors d'oeuvres. We encourage you to explore the food stations and enjoy the unique event space. All guests will be invited to take a seat for the program portion of the evening.

Parking Information:
Parking is available in the UMB Grand Garage located at 5 N. Paca Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. 

The garage has two elevators, Paca Street and Fayette Street. Guests will want to park on the Fayette side of the garage and take the elevator down to the ground floor. This leads directly into the Weinman Hall lobby which is where you’ll enter the event and get checked in.
